The Peterboro Mercantile is a community heritage gift shop initiated for the Gerrit Smith Estate National HIstoric Landmark (GSENHL) and the National Abolition Hall of Fame and Museum NAHOF) through a Central New York Community Foundation (CNYCF) PACE Grant in 2008, 2009, and 2010. The Mercantile products are related to Peterboro history. The Mercantile is staffed and managed by volunteers.
